Our small seaside residence 'Elba Serena' is optimally located in the lowest part of a lush valley only 150 real metres from the beach, which can be easily reached on foot even with small children. The residence consists of several residential units, all with a room separate from the living room, on one floor and with no other flats above.
The adjacent bay of Straccoligno or Calagrande offers a sandy beach, surrounded by the lush nature of the area. Although it has all the bathing facilities, it has not been choked by mass tourism. The beach is 50 % free and offers services such as deckchair, umbrella, rubber dinghy, pedalo and canoe hire, as well as bars and restaurants. We are an excellent starting point for diving, snorkelling, sailing school or pleasant excursions in the surrounding park area, on foot or by mountain bike, for guided trekking or horseback riding.
Nearby, in the area of the beautiful Costa dei Gabbiani, you can visit some of the island's wildest and most beautiful beaches. If you wish, you can move without a car to reach Capoliveri or other more distant beaches thanks to the shuttle service 50 metres from our residence, available during the summer period.
About 3 km away is the medieval town of Capoliveri, perched on a hill with a breathtaking view of Montecristo, Pianosa and Corsica. About 6 km away, Porto Azzurro offers the possibility of organised boat trips to the smaller islands of the Tuscan archipelago.
The flats are optimally and practically furnished, some with sea view and all with independent entrance. They have double beds with excellent mattresses with memory foam toppers, a living room, a bathroom with shower and window, a solarium and an exclusive outdoor veranda. All have private space for outdoor meals or for relaxing with sun loungers, which can be used in the outdoor area or on our large panoramic terrace. In addition, everyone has a personal barbecue and a free private covered parking space.
For everyone's use: unlimited WI-FI, a convenient laundry room with washing machine and ironing board, and a large free outdoor hot water shower area, very practical when returning from the beach. For our youngest guests, we offer a high chair, baby bath tub, camping-type cot complete with mattress and waxed terry cloth towel, and a well-equipped playground for their and your relaxation.
